Get Those Summer Feet!

Hi My Beauties,

Summer is (hopefully) on its way and time to break out those filp flops and sandals, If you are anything like me and suffer with dry skin this time of year can be a right pain. I am gonna give you some tips that I follow to reduce the dryness on my feet and keep them as soft as I can.

1. Have a lovely bath or foot spa, I always opt for a bubble bath my current favourite is Imperial Leather Jasmine Spa (£1.59) I soak in the bath with some tunes for at least 30 minutes.

2. Once out of the bath I use a ped egg (£9.99) all over the bottoms of my feet where i get the most dry, I always use the ped egg whilst my feet are still wet as this aids with the dry skin coming off.

3. I cover my feet with a thick layer of Ahava Dermud Intensive foot cream* (£18.00) or Scholl Dry Skin Instant Recovery Cream (£4.99) (Full review coming soon) all over my feet and then put on some thick socks.

4. I leave the socks on over night so that my feet absorb the cream leaving them lovely and soft.

5. I choose a nail polish and make my nails look pretty, in my case the skin around the nails gets made pretty too cause I'm awful at painting nails. I am currently sporting Illamasqua Scorch (£14.50)

5. To keep my feet soft and free from dryness I apply a thin coat of the favoured foot cream all over my feet daily.

There you have it my 5 steps to soft and silky feet which takes no time at all and its a great way to pamper yourself :)

If you have any other tips leave them in the comments as I am sure we would all love to hear them

Disclaimer: I am a member of Bzzagent.co.uk and they supplied me with the Scholl foot cream  to try, anyone can become a Bzzagent and get the opportunity to try out new products check out their website for more info :)

Review: Nail Art Nail Tattoos

I absolutely adore doing my nails, It's one of the best things I do to relax. So when I got my fingers on these nail tattoo stickers I was rather happy.

When I opened the packaging I was pleasantly surprised. They're in pretty nifty packaging which just folds back flat, meaning they are easy to put away once you have finished your nails.

First of all, even if you are rubbish at all the slinky painted nail designs and dont fancy paying loads for decent looking nails, these will be right up your alley, they're not overly expensive but look really pretty.
There are enough stickers in the pack to do a full set (all ten fingers) six times. On the model I only used one finger on each hand, just for a bit of a difference.

For starters I put on Collection 2000 Nail hardener as a base coat as it makes it easier for the colour to look even. The models nails are painted with 3 coats of Collection 2000 hot looks sherbert lemon.

After waiting for them to dry, you simply gently peal the nail stickers from the backing paper, and place them on the nail in which ever funky design  takes your fancy. Very carefully push down to make sure it's secure then coat them in a top coat to seal them in.

Simple as that!

Nail Art's Nail Tattoos are available for £5.99 from skinartuk.com.

NOTD: The Domino Effect

My first attempt at detail on nails, I know not great but I tried ha ha!

I used MUA Nail Poilish in Shade 2 Black, Attitude Matte Topcoat and Illamasqua Nail Polish in Scorch.

Review - Attitude Matte Finish Nail Varnish

I purchased Attitude Matte Finish Nail Varnish quite a while ago from my local Capital store in Hove. Other than eBay and Amazon I am not aware of any shops that sell this product because its a pro product.

I love it when you find a product that does exactly what it says on the bottle. I applied MUA's shade 2 Black colour all over the nails and allowed them to dry before applying the matte topcoat from Attitude.

See the after results below for yourself

Yes I know I am not all that great at covering the nail but you can see the result!

The Attitude topcoat cost me £2.76 from Capital and the MUA Nail Varnish cost me £1.00.

I think as I said the images speak for themselves I cant wait to try the product on more obscure colours to see if the affect is just as good.

Have you tried this topcoat before? What did you think?

NOTD - Leighton Denny Honey Trap

As you are already aware I got this nail colour with my Harrods Limited Edition GlossyBox a few days ago and I was really excited to try the colour as its beautiful.

Yes Honey Trap is a beautiful colour but I am not a lover of Leighton Denny's polish!

The consistency is what you would expect from a cheap brand not from a brand that charges £11 per bottle. I applied two coats on the second attempt.

I am hoping that OPI Sweet Heart is a close enough dupe as I have this on the way.
