Review: Natural Heaven In A Jar Part 2

A little while ago I told you all about the amazing All Purpose Balm from Natural U, Well Catherine also sent me some of her Daily Body Rub which myself and some of my friends have got great pleasure out of.

What the company say about The Daily Body Rub

Our 100% Natural and Organic daily body rub has an uplifting aroma of peppermint. This wonderful balm works incredibly well when used for massaging into the skin to ease tired muscles. An excellent moisturiser, you’ll find that the smell of this skincare balm is divine and mood lifting.

The wonderful moisturising and muscle soothing ingredients in the Daily Body Rub are:
Butyrospermum parkii(shea butter), Helianthus annus(sunflower) seed oil,cera
alba(beeswax),olea europea(olive oil),calendula officinalis(calendula
oil),prunus dulcis(sweet almond oil) ravensara aromaticum,(ravensara) mentha
piperita(peppermint essential oil), eucalyptus smithii(eucalyptus), melaleuca
alternifolia(Tea tree)

I have been suffering a lot with my knee of late and find that this massaged into the skin on and around the knee area really does soothe the pain. The rub is also great for those sufferers of headaches I massage it into my temples and lay down for a little while and the scent truly does relax you and help ease the tension of the headache.

The true testament to this product was when i used it on my friend Tom following a car accident, He suffered from whiplash and was extremely sore and tight so, I gently massaged this into his neck. Tom said that it really relaxed him and eased the stiffness he was experiencing which is amazing!

What I love about this product apart from being all natural is the fact it doesn't have a nasty overpowering scent like a lot of rubs.

I would most certainly recommend this product especially because its natural and not animal tested.

You can pick up The Daily Body Rub in 3 sizes at their website for: 5g Trial - £2.99, 30g Jar - £10.50 or a 50g Jar - £16.50

Have you tried either of Natural U's products? What did you think?

Review: Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream‏

I received this wonderful cream quite some time ago but due to a bit of a manic personal life have yet to blog about it so, sit back and enjoy the review.

I have been using this cream for around a month I swapped out my regular skin care routine to give this product the full attention it deserved, as it claims to be perfect for dry skin and you have all heard me bang on and on about my skin that I am sure you are bored now.

What the brand say: Docteur Renaud’s Raspberry Soft Cream helps restore your complexion and provide skin with that soothing sensation of absolute comfort. You’ll find that this moisturising, nourishing cream is easily absorbed, leaving your complexion feeling soft, supple, comforted and cocooned in the natural goodness of Raspberry.  With Docteur Renaud you’ll have beautiful looking skin that sparkles with health and vitality, leaving you and your skin smiling.

The cream has quite a think consistency which you would expect from a luxurious high end brand and the smell is absolutely Divine, The raspberry scent is not overpowering and fades fairly quickly. The cream is non greasy and sinks into the skin fairly quickly leaving a natural healthy glow.

As I said earlier I have used this for around a month now and I really have noticed the difference, my skin looks much more alive and keeps that natural glow for most of the day if I am not wearing makeup. As with all lotions and potions I always comment on the eczema factor because I think its important, for me this cream did not cause any itchy flare ups and that is always a great bonus. (this is based on my skin and how I react other eczema suffers may respond differently)

You can purchase Docter Renaud's Raspberry Soft Cream (50ml) for £24.95 at their website

Have you tried this brand before? Tell me what you thought.

Review: Natural Heaven In A Jar

A little while ago I was contacted by Catherine Mathius from the brand Natural U to see if, as an eczema sufferer, I would be interested in trying her skin balm to see if it would help relieve the dryness and itching that i get on my face, hands and wrists. Catherine explained to me that she had been a sufferer for a long time of dryness and itching on her hands and couldn't find anything on the market to help with her extreme issues so, she went about creating her own relief balm.

The All Purpose Balm to myself and sister, who also suffers badly, is heaven in a jar! I have the main jar at home and have decanted some into a smaller jar which I keep in my handbag, that way I always have it on me. The minute itching starts I apply a small amount and it relieves it pretty much right away, I have also used it on the cracked skin on my feet, my lips and around my nose where i get very dry.

What the company say about this balm:

Our 100% Natural and Organic All Purpose Balm is an outstanding Natural Moisturiser which soothes and softens dry skin on the hands, lips, face and feet! Suitable for people with sensitive skin. This amazing moisturiser can also be used on babies from birth as a baby bottom balm.

I am in love with this little pot of natural yummyness made from all natural ingredieants which follow: butyrospermum parkii(shea butter), Helianthus annus(sunflower)seed oil, cera alba(beeswax), olea europea(olive oil), calendula officinalis(calendula oil), anthemis nobilis(chamomile),lavandula angustifolia(Lavender), leptospermum scoparium (manuka).

The brand has also been certified by the Soil Association as being 100% natural and organic which is my eyes is a great certificate to hold, the company is also Animal Testing Friendly.

The All Purpose Balm comes in 3 sizes 5g Trial - £2.99, 30g Jar - £9.99 or a 50g Jar - £15.99 I assure you if you grab the trial size you will be wanting more of this stuff and if you love your Calmex this is a fabulous alternative and 100% better in my opinion!

I will be doing a further post later in the week about the Natural-U Daily Body Rub so don't miss out on that post.

If you have tried the product let me know your thoughts in the comments.

The last few weeks.....

The last few weeks have been pretty manic, I have been on so many dates I now call myself the serial dater ha ha! I have also been suffering a lot with my back which has really put me on a bit of a downer as it had been pretty good.

I have a busy week this week as the folks are away so, I am having to make sure that the boutique is ticking along OK for mum and get my sister to sort out any parcel's that need sending.

Tomorrow I have yet another date but the pessimistic side of me says it will go the way all the others have, i do hope not as he is a cutie and we really seem to get on!
As the lovely GetLippie said you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince :) as soon as i find that prince i am sure you lot will be the first to know!

I have be testing out some great products during the time I haven't been posting so I have quite a few reviews for you guys, a lot of skin care and a wonderful eczema relief product and I cant wait to tell you about them.
