Carrying on from yesterday’s post here are the final few Subscription Box services available in the UK including a newbie to the scene.
Let’s kick it off with Carmine
Carmine like most of the other boxes contains 5 high end branded miniatures. I did get rather excited about this box when I saw they work with professional brand Japonesque. Since starting out their boxes have contained at least one full size product and very generous miniature sizes.
The full list of brands they currently work with are:
Carmine currently offer 3 different subscription options, a £10 plus p+p cancel anytime option, £60 for 6 months or £110 for 12 months meaning you get one box free. On the 6 month and yearly option there is no mention of added p+p so I am assuming it’s included I will contact them to confirm this for you guys.
The postage charge is slightly cheaper than some of the other box sites costing £2.75 and they only accept credit or debit cards.
Carmine like the other boxes have a points program you can build these up by referrals earning 25 points or by buying gifts which ears you 10 points. Once you have built up 50 points you can get a free carmine box which in comparison to the other sites is very good however they don’t offer points for reviews.
The February box is still available to purchase by clicking here
Up Next is Joliebox
Joliebox deals with high end branded products and provides customers with 4 or 5 miniatures each month. The Feb box contained 3 generous miniatures along with 3 sachet style samples. The box itself does look more lavish in style with the samples coming in a drawstring style bag which can be reused. When comparing the Feburary box to other subscription boxes you seem to get more value for money with the others.
The site offers a shop stocking full size products of the items from their boxes which cuts out the need to hunt for the items elsewhere.
Joliebox currently work with the following brands:
Joliebox currently offer 3 different subscription options, a £10 (plus p+p) cancel anytime option, £30 for 3 months or £100 for 12 months meaning you get two boxes free. On the 3 month and yearly option there is postage is added for each month.
Postage costs are £2.95 per box and they accept only accept credit or debit cards.
Now we have She Said Beauty
From looking across the internet She Said Beauty seems to be as popular as Glossybox containing high end branded miniatures along with many full size items in each box. Each box contains five items. Unlike the other subscription sites they do not offer a page showcasing the brands they work with.
The March box contains items from Aveda, Comfort Zone, Orly, We Are Faux, Collection 2000, Premae Skincare and Jing Tea. The site provides links to the sites that the full size items can be purchased from should you choose to buy the full size products.
She Said Beauty offer 4 different subscription options: £9 per month (plus p+p) cancel anytime option, £27 for 3 months, £51 for 6 months or £108 for 12 months meaning you get two boxes free. On the 3, 6 and 12 month option there is postage is added for each month. There is currently an offer on the longer subscriptions the 3 month option is £25.65, the 6 moth option is £48.60 and the 12 month option is £91.80 there is no information about when this ends.
Postage costs are £2.95 per box and they accept only accept credit or debit cards.
She Said Beauty also offer a point system when you review products but their FAQ’s give no further info than just that so I will email them and find out the info for you guys.
Finally we have a newcomer Amitee
Amitee sends its first box at the end of this month and targets the ethnic market, their service after this month will only be available if you have been invited to join.
There are no details about the brands they are going to be using only that there will be established and up and coming brands. The service costs £12.95 including postage and if you like the products you get in your box you can view their products page and purchase the full size versions.
If you fancy Amitee then go and register today because come April you will only be able to join bybeing invited.
I have ordered Amitee’s first box so as soon as it arrives at the end of the month expect a full review of the service.
So that concludes our subscription box posts and for me I am most excited to try Glossybox and She Said Beauty boxes and as and when these babies arrive you will be the first to hear about them.
